So It Has Been A While...

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. It has been a little rough for me to get back into the swing of things, but I think I have got it now. I have been quite the little busy bee. On December 30th, I was invited, along with Peppermint Patty to a card making session at "Yo Momma's" House with a few of the ladies from group Scrappin Packin Mommas. We had a great time and between the 6 ladies and Sarah (Yo Mommas daughter) we created a total of 83 cards. You will find of few of the samples that I made.

I had a great time making some of my christmas presents, and one of my favorites was the Mardi Gras paint cans that I made for one of my co-workers. Each one of my co-workers received a paint can for christmas with a zebra looking scarf in the inside. Each of them were very thankful and could not get over how cute and different they all were.

On Saturday, January 5th, I tagged along with my mom for a trip to Hobby Lobby in Slidell, where I ran into a bunch of scrappin buddies. Patty (aka: Momma 411), Lizzy (aka: Yo Momma), Cathy, Lizzy, and also met two new scrappin buddies from the westbank, Julie Lay and her friend Sandra. While I was there, I got some really good sales and bought a few new stamps. On the way coming back we stopped at Michael's and hit the dollar bins, where I spent more money than I did at Hobby Lobby......lol. Bought some great new stamps and is so excited, can not wait to have another stamping party with my scrappin buddies.
On January 12, Tara Reece (aka: Laffy Taffy) held here all day crop at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kenner, LA. from 9am to 11pm. Pictured from left to right is Jill (aka: Jilly Bean), Melissa, Nicole (aka: Butterfingers), Ashley (Lisa's step-daughter), Tara (aka: Laffy Taffy), Brittany (Lisa's daughter), Kaci (aka: Starburst), and Lisa (aka: Bubblicious). All the ladies seemed to have gotten quite a bit accomplished. There was a page constest, where Ashley placed 1st and Jill placed 2nd with their layouts. There were also a few door prizes that were given out over the course of the day. We received 5 tickets just for going, 5 tickets for brining a camera, and 2 tickets for every page that we completed. While I was there I decided to work on my pictures from the BCS Bowl game party that we had at my mom's house (LSU vs. Ohio State). Did my own version of an LSU scrapbook. Below are a few pictures of what my book looks like. Hope you enjoy. Geaux Tigers!

Girl, I can't believe how much you have done! Awesome job. I love all of it. The Mardi Gras can came out great and I love the LSU book. By the way, thanks again for making a card for my gift at Yo Momma's house...lol I ended up making 4 more besides the ones that I made at the card stamping session and gave all of them out for gifts except for one (I kept one for myself)! It was a huge it and everyone that I gave them to absoulutely loved them. I bought a bunch more stamps too and like you can't wait to have another card making session. I will have to give my schedule to the "Scrappin Packin Momma's" for when I go back to N.O. Keep up the awesome work.
